AIMS & OBJECTIVES
REHABILITATION
[ PHYSICAL ]
To open and run homes for orphans, aged, handicapped / disabled children, street children and under privileged in villages in its project area and then branch in other parts of the state as and when fund position is favorable.
[SOCIAL ]
To study pattern of male sexual behavior and KAP (Knowledge Attitude and Practice) of commercial sex workers counsel and rehabilitate the AIDS patients and their family members.
To rehabilitate the bonded labourers and child labourers and work for human rights in the project area.

ENVIRONMENTAL
To improve sanitation facilities in villages;
To impart environment education and training to individuals on wasteland development, social forestry, preservation and deepening of tanks, construction of community gobar gas plants/solar energy plants encourage tree planting and eco development.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
To organise village economic self-sufficiency through agriculture, animal husbandry village industries etc. They train village youth for community development and participation in government programs.
GENERAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING
[FORMAL ]
To eradicate poverty and illiteracy in villages and to work for the reconstruction of the social order in the country according to Gandhian principles.
To start Day Care Centres/Creches Nursery/Schools in its project area to educate the children and start vocational training centres for the development of the youth of both sex and sponsor poor children in academic education.
[NON FORMAL ]
To eradicate poverty and illiteracy in villages and to work for the reconstruction of the social order in the country according to Gandhian principles.
[VOCATIONAL]
To start income generation programmes under credit co-operation system for sustainable development to rural dalit women.
To start vocational training centres for the development of the youth of both sex and sponsor poor children in academic education.
PREVENTION
[HEALTH]
To Create Awareness about HIV/AIDS among the rural people to control the spread of HIV infection which lead to the fatal disease AIDS.
To intensively promote condom use widely to prevent further transmission and spread of HIV virus and impart health education to the targeted age group (15-44) emphasizing on safe sexual practices.
To develop appropriate HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention and control strategies in co-ordination with the government and voluntary agencies.
In the current scenario of drastic reduction in anti-retroviral drug costs, the society is keen to explore the possibility of creating a drug bank with the help of drug companies, and donors in order to provide anti-retroviral therapy free of cost or at subsidized cost to deserving HIV positive persons in collaboration will a recognized HIV/AIDS treatment centre.
To open and run hospitals/clinics in rural areas and start Drug Bank in every village to provide medicine to the poor and under privileged in the project area.
To undertake propaganda for educating the public with regard to vaccine preventable illness their prevention and treatment by personal contact by holding, organizing, conducting or participating in film shows, demonstrations, exhibitions, seminars or lectures and by means of leaflets, charts etc.
[MOBILISATION]
To create public support for AIDS control measures carried out by government and voluntary agencies.
[EMPOWERMENT]
To uplift the exploited dalit people and support them in overcoming exploitation and to create awareness among the dalits on the importance of education, their responsibilities, rights and co-operation as citizen.
To uplift the disadvantaged and vulnerable women of the society to overcome their situation of dehumanization and improve their living standards by providing avenues for income generation like hybrid cows and animal husbandry skills.
SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
[LEADERSHIP]
To train village youth for community development and participation in government programs.
To promote community awareness for self realization and management of rural women and to create leadership potentialities and involve rural women for direct participation in all activities.
[MOBILISATION]
To create public support for AIDS control measures carried out by government and voluntary agencies.

CO-OPERATION & PARTICIPATION
